Province of Reggio Emilia, Region Emilia Romagna, Italy
The Province of Reggio Emilia is crossed by three rivers, the Po, Enza and Secchia, and by a network of canals, among them the most famous is the Naviglio, used since the Middle Ages to reach Ferrara and Venice. The name comes from the Roman Via Emilia, which has connected the region to Rome for 2000 years.
