The list of art, archeological, religious and cultural sites, many of them unique in the world and included among the Unesco Heritage Sites, is endless: the ruins of Pompeii, the splendid islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, the Sorrento coast, the astounding cliffs covered with luxuriant vegetation, the unmistakable skyline with the Vesuvius ... and so much more that the ancients rightly called this region "felix ager", a happy land.
